Bill Brownson
Bill Brownson has been an advocate of LGBT equality at the local and national levels for nearly 20 years. After a 20 year career in Investment Management with a primary focus on philanthropy and nonprofit endowments, he turned his attention to the nonprofit field on a full-time basis. Currently Bill is the Chief Financial Officer and Director of Administration for the West Ohio Conference of the United Methodist Church, which covers 55 Ohio counties and 1,100 United Methodist Churches. In addition to serving on the Legacy Fund Board, of which he is a founding member and past chair, he serves on the board of trustees for Otterbein Homes. Bill’s earned his undergraduate and MBA degrees from the Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business. Bill’s life partner of 21 years is Myron Phillips.
