Contributions and Planned Gifts

Since December 22, 2000 cumulative gifts to The Legacy Fund General Endowment have totaled more than $668,000.00.

Additionally, beginning in September 2008, the Howard T. Short and Burdette Augsburger Scholarship Fund was established by a gift of more than $350,000.00 from the estate of Burdette Augsburger.”

• A $350,000 planned gift from the estate of Burdette Augsburger and his late partner, Howard Short, established the Burdette Augsburger and Howard Short Scholarship Program of The Legacy Fund. This program annually awards scholarships to central Ohio LGBT college students.
